Today’s Simple Lunch – Hainanese Chicken Rice & Stir-Fried Kai Lan Rice

It’s Sunday today, but hubby had to go back to school for a few hours. As there’s no one in the school, I went to school with him and helped him print out some school notices.

After everything was done, we went to the Tesco store nearby to have lunch. I had Hainanese Chicken Rice with Bean Sprouts while hubby had Stir-Fried Kailan Rice.

Since moving to the new place, hubby and I have been able to eat vegetables almost every day. This is because of my home-cooked meals! :-)

Tonight’s dinner is going to be same Dried Oyster Porridge that we didn’t finish last night. Just add some warm water and bring it to boil, that’s it. What a simple dinner!

  1. Just curious. Can you elaborate how you consume the vinegar? Eg first thing in the morning, do you drink undiluted (before or after food)? How do you use it as a mouth wash?
    Is apple vinegar suitable for ppl with gastric issues?
