What a waste! Hubby and I couldn’t finish the Yam Rice. We had had it for two meals, yet there’s still much left.
I thought 3 measure cups of rice was the right amount for two meals, but I was wrong. With so much yam and chicken meat, I should have cooked 2 cups and not 3 cups.
After 2 meals of yam rice yesterday, hubby insisted having something else for this morning’s breakfast. So did I. The yam rice was delicious, yet eating too much would keep us away from eating it next time.

So hubby ate the remaining slices of whole grain bread while I ate fried noodles bought from the coffee shop next to the flat.
This afternoon, hubby and I are going to eat mixed rice. I don’t feel like cooking today after preparing hard and long for yesterday’s yam rice.
