A Hanabishi Multi Cooker Or A National Multi-Cooker?

Don’t be surprised if I tell you I didn’t know there was such a thing called multi cooker until this Monday!

It’s been a loooooong time since I stepped into any electrical department. Plus, I don’t pay attention to kitchen electrical appliances in the magazines.

Let me recall, I think the last time I bought an electrical product was more than 4 years ago. If I am not mistaken, it’s the Cornell steamer that cost less than RM90 because of clearance sale.

Speaking of electrical department, hubby and I went to The Store at Jalan Kampar on Monday. I was there trying to find out the prices for stainless steel thermal mugs and lunch boxes because I thought of getting hubby a stainless steel mug and a lunch box.

I was delighted when I saw a Hanabishi multicooker with a transparent glass cover and non stick coating surface that was at very affordable price of RM115.

What an inexpensive cooker that I can use to fry, boil, stew, steam and steamboat Chinese dishes! Hanabishi, a homegrown brand of home and kitchen electrical appliances that has been around for a long time in Malaysia. But I haven’t tried its products before.

I will check out other brands and their prices at Tesco and Jusco for the next two weeks. I have a National boiler, a Cornell steamer, a Panasonic juicer, a National rice cooker and a National slow cooker.

So, a Hanabishi multi cooker or a National multi-cooker?
